This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs Customer’s use of SignalSync’s Services and is an integral part of the Terms and Conditions of the Services (the “Agreement”) between SignalSync and the Customer. By using SignalSync’s Services, you agree to comply with this AUP, ensuring a secure, respectful, and lawful use of our platform.

SignalSync may modify this AUP from time to time. Updates will be effective upon publication, and we encourage Customers to review this AUP periodically.

Purpose and Shared Responsibility

SignalSync is committed to providing secure, reliable, and innovative SaaS Services to our Customers. This AUP outlines acceptable and prohibited activities to protect the integrity of our platform, safeguard user experiences, and maintain compliance with applicable laws and standards.

We believe in shared responsibility: while we maintain the infrastructure and tools, users are expected to use the SaaS Services responsibly and in compliance with this AUP.

Acceptable Use

Expected Behavior

Customers are encouraged to:

• Use the SaaS Services for business-related purposes only, in order to enhance business processes and achieve organizational goals.
• Secure their accounts with strong passwords and enable security features like multi-factor authentication.
• Respect the rights and privacy of others while using the platform.

Prohibited Activities

The following activities are prohibited to ensure the safety, security, and performance of the Services. Customers must not:

Legal and Ethical Violations

• Use the SaaS Services for illegal activities or violations of any law or regulation, including but not limited to data protection and export control laws.
• Stalk, harass, bully or threaten violence against others, regardless of legality.
• Use a Content which has been the subject of any threatened or actual legal proceedings or other similar complaint.

Security and System Integrity

• Alter, modify or disrupt the Services or its underlying systems, including using automated tools (e.g., bots, scrapers) to overload our servers.
• Probe, scan or test the vulnerability of our systems without prior written authorization.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services, accounts, or data.
• Delay in reporting known or suspected security breaches, credential compromise, or misuse to the email address stated below.

Privacy Violations

• Collect or share other users’ personal information without their consent or distribute cookies, pixels or tags without proper permissions.
• Engage in phishing, spoofing or misrepresentation of identity or origin of data.

Intellectual Property Infringement

• Copy, distribute or create derivative works of the Services without explicit authorization.
• Reverse engineer, decompile or tamper with any part of the Services.

Harmful or Offensive Content

• Submit or share content that is illegal, offensive, harmful, deceptive, hateful, threatening, fraudulent, obscene, abusive, harassing, defamatory, discriminatory or otherwise inappropriate.
• Upload malicious code, including viruses, worms, bots, or spyware, that could damage SignalSync, the Services or its users.
• Use Content which consist of or contain any advice, instructions or other information that may be acted upon and could, if acted upon, cause death, illness or personal injury, damage to property, or any other loss or damage.

Misuse of Platform Features

• Use the Services to send spam or use the Services to store or transmit spam – which for these purposes shall include all unlawful marketing communications and unsolicited commercial communications or interfere with the delivery of legitimate communications.
• Mirror, frame or replicate the Services without authorization.

Consequences of Violations

SignalSync reserves the right to take action if this AUP is violated, including but not limited to:

1. Warnings: Issuing written warnings to address minor or first-time violations.
2. Temporary Suspension: Restricting access to the Services while resolving the violation.
3. Termination: Permanently terminating accounts for severe or repeated violations.
4. Civil or criminal liability: In case of violations, by the Customer, of this AUP, it will be solely liable and responsible for any and all damages or fines resulting for SignalSync or the Services. Violations of AUP may result in significant civil and criminal liability for the Customer.

In cases of account suspension or termination, SignalSync will provide written notice and, where appropriate, an opportunity to remedy the violation in a specific timeframe.

Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any activities that violate this AUP, please report them immediately to abuse@signalsync.ai. SignalSync will review all reports and take appropriate action to address violations.

Appeals and Dispute Resolution

Customers may appeal actions taken under this AUP by submitting a written explanation to info@signalsync.ai. SignalSync will review appeals in good faith and respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Acknowledgment and Updates

By using SignalSync’s Services, you acknowledge your understanding and acceptance of this AUP. SignalSync may modify this AUP periodically, and we will notify Customers of significant changes. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
